Mission Statement
The Mission of Bee Nee’s Babies Educational Learning Center, LLC is to provide quality education to eligible infants, toddlers, pre-school and school-age children in the City of Philadelphia and Philadelphia County. The prime purpose of this program is to develop and support students to assure high levels of achievement, promote an efficient and comprehensive curriculum reflective of the social and cultural aspects of society, to promote self-image and create life-long learners that encourage greater parental and community involvement.
Program Philosophy
Our central focus is to provide each child with a rich and varied learning experience. We believe that this can best be accomplished by acquiring qualified and trained personnel. It is also necessary to provide a physical environment that is safe, attractive, nurturing and functional. The combination of these factors will promote a learning and healthy development for our children.
Our center provides activities that encourage the development of gross and fine motor skills, pre-reading and writing, language arts and exposure to computers along with free play and socialization.
Our staff will encourage and provide open and honest feedback about your child, daily information about your child’s activities and an attitude of teamwork in areas relating to your child’s development. Communication is the key to a successful child care arrangement. The parent and provider need to have a good working relationship so they can communicate and work together. Parent and provider need to exchange pertinent information in the child’s life such as changes in routine, special events or activities, as well as changes such as death, divorce, separation, moving, visitors, etc. All this information can be important in understanding the child’s feelings, behavior and well-being.

Is the center licensed?
Bee Nee’s Babies is a state licensed child care center with a well-educated and highly trained staff of professionals and have been providing safe, nurturing and quality education for over twelve (12) years. Our facility meets all state codes regarding safety, health care, staff qualifications, activities, curriculum and staff/child ratios.
Does the center participate in Keystone Stars?
Keystone STARS is Pennsylvania’s Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS). A QRIS is a continuous quality improvement systemic approach to assess, improve, and communicate the level of quality in early and school-age care and education programs. Keystone STARS is a program of Pennsylvania’s Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL). Bee Nee’s Babies is a Keystone Star 4 facility.
Will my child have the opportunity for learning and creative expression?
At Bee Nee’s Babies, our philosophy is that every child is unique and should be treated as an individual. Through music, dramatic play, art and cooking the children are able to express themselves creatively. We encourage children to feel they are a part of our “family”, while working at their own pace and doing the things they like to do. Emphasis is placed on developing a child’s positive self-esteem by providing a sense of security and predictability in their day.
Are the children grouped together?
The programs at Bee Nee’s Babies are specifically designed for each individual age group in order to promote age appropriate activities. Each age group has their own individual classroom with materials and equipment. Both independent and group play is encouraged with individualized care for each student in a comfortable and safe environment.
What activities are offered at the center?
Bee Nee’s Babies offers a wide variety of activities designed for various age and skill levels. Your child’s day consists of scheduled activities which are incorporated into our exciting themes. Activities include circle time, art, music, storytelling, science, language arts, math, creative learning centers and outdoor play.
What kind of meals are provided?
Our food program serves nourishing meals as outlined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. We have a professional cook and a commercial kitchen for preparation of all meals which include a.m. supplement, lunch and supper daily.
